New traffic management plans – Olympic Park Avenue
On Monday 15th June 2020 Olympic Park Avenue (outside Phase 4) will be fully closed to vehicular traffic (apart from construction traffic) this is to allow site to start construction on the previously shared traffic management plan (see drawing below). The full closure is expected to be in place until Saturday, 20th June 2020 (5 days).
From Monday 22nd June there will be a new traffic management plan in place, this will be a partial road closure on Olympic Park Avenue in front of Phase 4. Olympic Park Avenue will become a one way traffic system. Traffic travelling from the Velodrome end of Olympic Park Avenue will be able to travel freely towards Stratford, all other traffic will be diverted up Honour Lee Avenue and along Peloton Avenue for access to Olympic Park Avenue, Abercrombie Road and internal roads.
It is expected that the partial road closure commencing on Monday 22nd June and one way system will remain in place until completion of Phase 4.
