We apologies for the miscommunication regarding parking on Abercrombie Road & Olympic Park Avenue. The road remains un-adopted and is our responsibility until the maintenance period has expired. PCM are still responsible for these roads, therefore we advise residents to continue to pay to park until we send out communications stating that PCM no longer operate on these roads.
It is confirmed that Newham will be adopting this road, once handover is complete. We will inform residents at that point again.
Thank you and apologies for any inconvenience.
We are writing to inform you that as of today, Abercrombie Road and part of Olympic Park Road has been adopted by Newham Council. This means that we will no longer be responsible for managing these roads. PCM will be removing any visible signage in these areas and the visitors’ parking on Abercrombie Road will no longer be available.
Please also note the following is included in the Section 30 adoption: drainage system, trees, hedges, garden beds.
Whilst Newham have not confirmed any plans for these roads, we will continue to keep in communication with them regarding any upcoming plans, so we can then pass this information on to residents.
If you do have any questions regarding this adoption and proposed plans we would encourage you to contact Newham directly.
Please see diagram attached with details of the roads that Newham will be adopted. These have been highlighted in red.
We are aware that there has been a number of thefts happening on the estate. This has been mainly mobile phones and bicycles. We ask that residents are very careful when walking around the estate with their mobile phones and other valuable items. We are working alongside affected residents and the police to provide as much information as possible.
Can we ask that residents report any thefts to the police immediately so they can investigate further.
