Filming taking place in September

Dear Residents.

We hope you are well.

We wanted to advise you all that there is going to be some filming around Chobham Manor, week commencing 5th September.

Make Architects will be filming to include the buildings and general shots of the public realm and their aim is to show the community and neighbourhood as a vibrant place to be.  Some of their colleagues will act as models and there will be  signs up not to disturb residents.

If you have any questions regarding this please contact your Neighbourhood Housing Leads

Information on Drain Blockages

Dear Resident

There have recently been a few issues with blocked drainage around the site and we just wanted to advise residents of the following:

Please note the following information which is also on Thames Water Website.

What causes blockages?

Sewers are only designed to take water from toilets, sinks, baths and showers along with human waste and toilet tissue. Everything else should be put in the bin.

Blockages are often caused by:

  • Fat, oil and food scraps that become solid in pipes.
  • Wet wipes – even the ones labelled ‘flushable’ block your pipes.
  • Sanitary items, including towels and tampons.

Can residents please take care when disposing of these items to avoid any future foul smelling around the site, which is certainly unpleasant for all residents.

Thank you for your cooperation.
