Bronze Award for Chobham Manor

Chobham Manor Receives Bronze Award for Considerate Constructors Scheme

The Considerate Constructors Scheme seeks to improve the image of the construction industry by striving to promote and achieve best practice under the Code of Considerate Practice. Chobham Manor is registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This code outlines the schemes expectations and describes those areas that are considered fundamental to register for the scheme.

The code is broken down into five main sections these being; Appearance, Community, Environment, Safety and Wellbeing of the workforce.

During the year the Considerate Constructors Scheme visit each registered site twice, marking them against the 5 main themes and a report is produced offering suggestions on how we could be developing work on site to meet the Code or congratulating us on our achievements.

Chobham Manor has received a Bronze award for the hard work we do to meet the code and we achieve high results from the visits.

Chobham Manor development has been congratulated on its efforts to make sure the site is presentable, organised and well managed. They feel Chobham Manor strives hard to inform local residents of the work that is taking place, looks closely at how the site could impact upon local residents and works to reduce the level of disruption where possible. Chobham Manor works with other services to promote environmental issues, reducing the carbon footprint and also monitoring noise, air and vibration pollution that could be created by construction sites.
